Some ask why I have been publishing the daily reflection on such detailed aspects of the Rule of the Youth Congregation, founded by Eugene in 1813. I have three reasons:
1/ My long-term aim with this blog is to have many texts of St Eugene available on the internet that can be researched using the search-engine according to themes or particular words.
2/ The Youth Congregation’s sources have never been widely studied, and so I am doing this through the daily reflections of this period.
3/ It is an opportunity for me to share my fascination with the person and spirit of Eugene. The daily reflection is basically my own personal meditation on the texts – I share them in the hope that others will find something useful in them.
