He entrusts his fidelity to the one whose cross he shares, whose promises are his hope. (Constitution 59).<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>On Good Friday Eugene had experienced \u201cthe Father\u2019s love in Jesus\u201d and he was impelled to spend the rest of his life \u201cmaking that love visible.\u201d He entrusted that mission to every member of the Oblate Family:<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">\n<em><strong>The cross of Jesus Christ is central to our mission. Like the apostle Paul, we \u201cpreach Christ and him crucified\u201d (1 Cor 2: 2). If we bear in our body the death of Jesus, it is with the hope that the life of Jesus, too, may be seen in our body (cf. 2 Cor 4:10).
