Phil 3: 10).<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>CC&amp;RR, Constitution 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\n\u201cOur outlook on the world becomes that of Jesus the Savior crucified. It was the Founder\u2019s outlook after his \u2018conversion\u2019, how he saw himself and the world in terms of Christ\u2019s blood. The expressions: \u2018souls at the price of Christ\u2019s blood\u2019, \u2018who have cost him his blood\u2019, recur again and again in his writings.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eugenedemazenod.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Cross2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4256 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eugenedemazenod.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Cross2-300x75.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"664\" height=\"166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eugenedemazenod.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Cross2-300x75.png 300w, https:\/\/www.eugenedemazenod.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Cross2-768x192.png 768w, https:\/\/www.eugenedemazenod.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Cross2.png 974w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 664px) 100vw, 664px\" \/><\/a>Farther on, in Rule 12, we will find the complementary expression: \u2018to love others as Jesus loves them\u2019. Indeed, the Oblate\u2019s apostolic spirit consists in contemplating the world with the eyes of Christ, loving it with the heart of Christ, and working wholeheartedly with Christ in the work of its redemption.\u201d<\/em> (F. Jett\u00e9, <em>The Apostolic Man<\/em>, p.58-59)<\/p>\n<p>When this was written in 1992, the concept and profile of the Mazenodian family had not emerged clearly.
