Eugene made them his (and ours) by using the word \u201coblation\u201d \u2013 our vocation is to give ourselves totally to God in love, and to the service of one another:<\/p>\n
\nCharity for our neighbour is again an essential part of our spirit.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n
However, he adds a condition:<\/p>\n
\nWe practice it first amongst us by loving each other as brothers<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n
If we cannot live in charity among ourselves, we have nothing to offer to the world, except a two-faced lie: \u201cdo what I tell you, but do not imitate what you see me doing in my personal and community life.\u201d<\/p>\n
