I remind you that if you are looking for a specific theme, you can use the search engine on the homepage of the site <a href=\"www.eugenedemazenod.net\">www.eugenedemazenod.net<\/a><\/em><\/h5>\n<p>Eugene had sent two new candidates to Hippolyte Court\u00e8s in Aix to join the Missionaries.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>I am happy to have sent the two of whom you speak and am pleased that you like them.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One of these was Jean Hermitte, from Marseilles, who would make his mark as a preacher throughout his missionary life.<\/p>\n<p>Eugene saw this steady trickle of vocations as a \u201cfair wind\u201d that kept the Oblates moving, but underlined the need for regular prayers for Oblate vocations.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A fair wind is enough to be able to sail; one must have patience, confidence in God and in prayer.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Do not forget this last item. Each Oblate should offer for this intention a communion per week, asking Our Lord earnestly, immediately after communion, that he send us men suitable for his work.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Letter to Hippolyte Court\u00e8s, 9 November, EO VI n 157<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our Rule of Life continues to stress the same idea:<\/p>\n<p><em>Jesus never ceases to call people to follow him and to proclaim the Kingdom.
